These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Med Spa (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Med Spa is an online directory and discovery platform for medical spas ("med spas") and a tool that generates AI-powered visualizations of cosmetic treatments. We are not a medical provider. We do not perform treatments, prescribe medication, or give medical advice. All treatments are provided by independent licensed providers listed in our directory.
2. AI-Generated Content
Images generated by the Service are computer-generated simulations created by third-party artificial intelligence models. They are provided for illustrative and educational purposes only. They are not a guarantee, prediction, or representation of the actual results any individual will achieve from a cosmetic procedure. Real-world outcomes depend on many individual factors including anatomy, health history, and the technique of the licensed provider performing the treatment. Always consult a licensed medical professional before making any treatment decision.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. The Service is not intended for and may not be used by minors.
4. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. User Content and Photos
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of generating a visualization and displaying it to you. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train third-party AI models. Photos are stored securely and can be deleted at any time via your dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Med Spa Marketplace
The Service lists both claimed and unclaimed med spa profiles. Claimed profiles are operated by the listed business. Unclaimed listings are built from publicly available business information and are clearly labeled as such. We do not endorse or verify the quality of any provider. Bookings are requests — the actual appointment is arranged and performed by the spa directly, and any payments, cancellations, and service-related matters are between you and the spa.
7. No Medical Advice
Nothing on the Service is medical advice. Information about treatments, ingredients, providers, pricing, or outcomes is for general informational purposes only. Consult a licensed medical professional before making any decision about a cosmetic procedure.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate any person.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or scrape the Service at scale.
- Represent AI-generated images as real before/after photos.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Med Spa and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated visualizations.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
